Do you use upstairs for the dogs?
absolutely! especially in the warmer and wetter months, the dogs love having a rest in the air-conditioning with a movie playing. NOT ONLY THIS BUT IT WORKS AS THE PERFECT ENVIRONMENT TO RECREATE HOME LIFE aswell as for our dogs that don't cope as well in the hot townsville summer months.
Do you accept entire dogs for daycare?
non desexed dogs are welcome on a case by case basis. with many vets now recommending owners to wait to desex until a more mature age, we have adapted our enrolment process accordingly. provided your dog passes all assessments, they are welcome at hop.
What if my dog isn't 'daycare' suitable?
THERE IS A MISCONCEPTION THAT IF A DOG ISN'T 'DAYCARE' SUITABLE THEY ARE 'BAD DOGS' - THIS COULDN'T BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! THERE COULD BE MANY REASONS A DOG IS DEEMED UNSUITABLE INCLUDING ANXIETY, STRESS OR OVER-CONFIDENCE. IT IS A PART OF OUR DUTY OF CARE TO GIVE OUR CLIENTS ALL THE INFORMATION NEEDED AND REQUIRED AS TO WHY their dog may not be suitable, AND THEREAFTER TO SUPPLY appropriate options for their dog SO THEY ARE STILL ABLE TO SOCIALISE, EXERCISE AND/OR HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF ENRICHMENTS suited to their individual needs.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
yes, we will not accept any dogs without proof of vaccinations. this will need to be updated annually.
proof of flea, tick and worming treatments are also required.
